The terms

UV templateA flat image of the car's body panels, unfolded so they can be painted in 2D.
UV islandOne continuous panel in the template. Artwork that crosses an island boundary can jump.
SeamWhere two panels meet on the car — the door gap, hood edge, bumper line.
Template size1024×1024 px for Model 3, Y, S and X; 1024×768 px for Cybertruck.
Wraps folderA folder named exactly Wraps at the root of a USB drive.
1 MB limitThe maximum PNG size Paint Shop accepts.

Two words people mix up

"Template" is the flat layout you paint on; "wrap" is the finished image. Sending someone your template gives them a blank canvas, not your design.

Where to go next

If you are new: read the file rules, then design on the correct template. If a wrap already failed, the checker will tell you which rule it broke.

Questions

Is Paint Shop the same as a vinyl wrap?

No. Paint Shop changes the screen; vinyl changes the car.

Does the template include the windows?

No. Glass is not part of the wrap, so designs drawn over it are simply not printed on the car.
