Describe the look in one sentence and the generator paints it on the official Model 3 (2024+) Base template — the same UV layout Paint Shop expects, so what you approve in 3D is what the car shows.
The prompt opens in the designer's AI panel, where you confirm the generation and its cost. Designing by hand stays free.
Pick the exact Tesla
Model, year and trim. Twelve templates, one per panel layout — a Model Y design does not fit a Model 3.
Write one sentence
Colors, pattern, finish. One main idea beats five, and short prompts are easier to steer.
Generate and look at the 3D car
The result lands on the 3D model, not just the flat template. Rotate it and check the doors, hood and rear.
Export the PNG
Download the Paint Shop-ready PNG, or keep editing by hand in the same canvas.
Load it in the car
Tesla app → Creations → Wrap → Upload, or a Wraps folder on a USB drive, then Toybox → Paint Shop.
Each of these names a color, a finish and one motif. Click one to load it into the box above.
Name the finish
Matte, gloss, satin and chrome read very differently on the in-car screen. Say which one you want.
One idea per wrap
Several unrelated themes turn into noise at 1024 px and look like a printing accident on the car.
Judge it in 3D
Panels that look odd flat often look right on the car, and the other way round. Rotate before you judge.
Big shapes, not fine detail
The touchscreen is small. Text under roughly 40 px on the template is unreadable.
Add logos by hand
Generate the base, then place text and logos in the editor where you can position them exactly.
Check the file, then upload
Run the exported PNG through the checker: real PNG, under 1 MB, sides 512–1024 px, short file name.

Credits per wrap
Bought in one-time packs. Credits do not expire, and the cost is shown before you confirm.
Hand design
Free
The full editor, layers, 3D preview and PNG export cost nothing and need no credits.
Downloads
Free
Community designs download as PNGs with no account.
Every template is separate. Choose the one that matches your car's model, year and trim.
Designing by hand, previewing in 3D and exporting PNGs cost nothing. An AI generation spends credits from a one-time pack — the same amount the editor charges, and the price is shown on the pricing page before you confirm.
All twelve templates in the editor: Cybertruck, Model 3 (original and 2024+ Standard/Premium and Performance), Model Y (original, 2025+ Standard/Premium/Performance and Model Y L), Model S (2021+ and Plaid) and Model X.
It fits if you pick the exact model and trim. Each template has its own panel layout, and a design painted on the wrong one puts stripes and text on the wrong panels. Check the result on the 3D car before exporting.
Export the PNG, then upload it in the Tesla app (Creations → Wrap → Upload) or copy it into a folder named Wraps at the root of a USB drive, and choose it in Toybox → Paint Shop.
Yes. Every generation opens in the same editor, so you can repaint a zone, move the artwork, add text and export again.
No. A Paint Shop wrap changes the car visualisation on the touchscreen and in the app. It is not a vinyl install and it does not touch the paint.
Tesla Wrap Designer is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Tesla, Inc. Paint Shop wraps change the on-screen car visualisation; they do not change paint or install vinyl. Tesla and model names are trademarks of their respective owners.
